Seychelles Archipelago: Home to Unspoilt Pristine Beaches in the World

The Seychelles archipelago consists of 115 islands that are known for their magnificent beaches. The development and conservation go side by side here with only a few exceptions. This is precisely the reason that hawksbill turtles feel safe to come ashore in broad daylight to lay their eggs.

It lies to the east of La Digue Island. It is the perfect place for some soul searching amidst nature.

Anse Lazio

Anse Lazio is long and broad and is located northwest of Praslin, which is Seychelles’ second most inhabited island. It is also the most photographed beach with dreamy blue sea and velvety sand. Once you are here, you would feel like you are in your own heaven.

Anse Georgette

Anse Georgette is also located in Praslin but to its western side. It is a very quiet and nice place and ideal for couples. The beach is accessible only by boat and hence slightly secluded and couples love to have their privacy there in serene and beautiful surroundings.

Anse Intendance

This beach is on the main island Mahe and is tagged as the most unspoilt beach on it. You will find it on the southern coast of Mahe and it stretches across nearly 30 Kilometers. The surfers love this beach as there are large and strong waves here. However, it is not recommended for someone who just wants to have a dip.

Anse Major

Anse Major deserves the number one position when it comes to the best beaches in Seychelles. It extends up to Morne Seychellois Reserve in the northwest of main island Mahe. To reach this beach, you either need to take a boat or you can take the nature trail hike. The hike is no doubt a little long and exhausting, but the coastal views are simply gorgeous. All efforts are worth to catch a glimpse of this enchanted place on the planet.
